This course is designed for those who want to deepen their practice of Pilates mat, learn to teach the beginning mat series and basic anatomy/kinesiology. This is a prerequisite for the 500 teacher training and participants will receive a mat certification.

About the teacher:
Kristin Hapke (Certified Pilates Instructor/ Certified Movement Analysis) has been teaching Pilates since 2002 and dance since 1997 in universities, Pilates and community centers. She loves teaching movement and helping clients find connections in their bodies and efficient movement patterns for greater ease, stability and core strength. Kristin was first introduced to Pilates in her dance training as a teen and the system has continued to support and amaze her as a professional dancer for over 20 years. She has taught Pilates in such places as Coker University and in Seattle WA, Columbus, OH, New York, NY and owned a successful Pilates studio in Brooklyn, NY. Additionally she is a certified movement analyst specializing in gait analysis and somatic movement training and currently is pursuing a doctorate degree in occupational therapy.
